Education is not confined to textbooks, classrooms, or examinations alone. It thrives in sports fields, innovation spaces, cultural platforms, community engagements, and moments where learners express creativity and leadership.

In 2025, NuClass actively participated in a wide range of educational and community events across Zimbabwe — supporting schools not only through technology, but also through practical, on-the-ground involvement.

At all the events highlighted below except the NASH Conference, NuClass proudly:

This reflects our belief that education truly happens beyond the classroom.

Primary School Ball Games – Plumtree High School

The Primary School Ball Games hosted at Plumtree High brought together young learners from different schools to compete, collaborate, and grow through sport.

Beyond competition, the ball games created an opportunity for young learners to build confidence, teamwork, and discipline in a relaxed but organised environment. Parents, educators, and the wider community came together to celebrate talent, effort, and participation rather than results alone. Moments like these highlight the importance of holistic development, where physical activity plays a key role in nurturing balanced learners.

DASSAF & PASSAF School Festivals – Embakwe

The DASSAF (Drama, Arts and Speech Association Festival) and PASSAF (Performing Arts Schools Association Festival) held at Embakwe were vibrant celebrations of creativity, talent, and self-expression.

The arts festivals provided a powerful platform for creative expression, cultural identity, and confidence-building among participants. Poetry, dance, modelling, and music were used as tools to communicate real-life messages while showcasing hidden talent. These festivals reminded everyone that learning extends into creative spaces where expression, discipline, and collaboration are just as valuable as academic achievement.

NuClass supported these festivals by:

Learners showcased poetry, drama, music, dance, and modelling — proving that education beyond the classroom must also nurture artistic and creative intelligence.

16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence – Primary & Secondary Schools Held at Alan Primary School.

The 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence was commemorated by both primary and secondary schools at Alan Primary School under the theme:

“Unite to End Digital Violence Against All Women and Girls.”

The commemoration of the 16 Days of Activism went beyond awareness, focusing on meaningful conversations around safety, respect, and digital responsibility. Through performances, speeches, and interactive sessions, learners were encouraged to reflect on their roles in building a respectful and inclusive society. The presence of government departments, law enforcement, and community organisations reinforced the shared responsibility required to address gender-based violence in both physical and digital spaces.

Prize Giving Days – Celebrating Excellence Beyond the Classroom

NuClass was honoured to attend and support several Prize Giving Day ceremonies, including:

Celebrating excellence across our schools — prize giving ceremonies that honoured effort, growth, and achievement while inspiring learners to dream bigger.

Prize giving events offered a moment to pause and recognise dedication of teachers, their passion for teaching, and their commitment to nurturing learners beyond academics, consistency, and resilience demonstrated throughout the year. They celebrated not only top achievers but also growth, improvement, and commitment. The celebrations were filled with singing, dancing, poetry, and joy, reminding us that learning is both structured and expressive, creating lasting memories for families and educators while reinforcing the value of encouragement and recognition in the learning journey.

This conference in Kariba provided an opportunity to engage with education leaders, policymakers, and service providers from across the country. Participation at this level allowed for meaningful connections, knowledge exchange, and alignment with national goals shaping education beyond local communities.

Education Beyond the Classroom

Across sports, arts, innovation, activism, and celebration, one message remains clear: learning flourishes when young people are given platforms to express talent, creativity, leadership, and social responsibility beyond formal lessons.

This approach reflects the principles of Education 5.0, which emphasise innovation, heritage, community engagement, and the practical application of knowledge. By supporting events through PA systems, documentation, and storytelling — often at no cost — NuClass contributes to creating environments where skills are developed, values are shaped, and confidence is built.

In line with Vision 2030, these engagements help prepare future citizens who are innovative, socially aware, and ready to contribute meaningfully to national development. Through sustained community involvement and digital preservation of experiences, NuClass remains committed to strengthening an inclusive and forward-looking education ecosystem in Zimbabwe.
