Phakamani high school is a government school that is located in the heart of Plumtree town and it is the only non-boarding school around the town.
As Plumtree is flooded by with boarding schools the school was built to bridge the gap for locals parents who didn’t want to send their children to far away boarding schools.

Phakamani high school is an academic institution that is hell bent on producing some of the best minds in the country and the hard work has been seen as we see their students excel to excellent universities and colleges.
Since they started enrolling A’Level students we have the seen the astounding rise in pass rates and their sports program has proven to be one of the best country with their handball team reaching the finals several times.
