The Women’s University in Africa is a private higher education institution located in the beautiful town of Marondera in Mashonaland East. The university is one the first institutions to be established in Africa that supports the education of women. The Women’s University in Africa was founded by 2 visionaries named Professor Hope Cynthia Sadza who is currently the vice chancellor and Dr Fay King Chung who is a former Minister of Education in Zimbabwe.
The institution has a strict enrolment policy that states that 85% of the students should be women and the rest can be men. The institution offers programs in the fields of Social and Gender Transformative Sciences, Management and Entrepreneurial Sciences, Agricultural Sciences.
